Parks and Recreation Projects and Other Land Development Projects

Our Firm has provided planning and land development engineering services for 35 years including major Parks and Recreation and Residential Developments throughout Arkansas. The following is a list of the major Parks and Recreation and Residential Developments our Firm has engineered:

  1. North Little Rock Pedestrian/Bicycle Path through Burns Park/Emerald Park
    Our firm designed a 3 mile bike/pedestrian asphalt path with landscape and other features through Burns Park and Emerald Park in North Little Rock as part of the Highway Department's Enhancement Program. Our Firm received an Engineering Excellence award from the American Council of Engineering Companies in 2003

  2. North Little Rock Park Hill Street Scape Project
    Our Firm designed lighting, landscaping, sidewalks, and street improvements for the Park Hill (John F. Kennedy Boulevard) Street Scape Improvement Project in 2005. The projects received an Engineering Excellence award from the American Council of Engineering Companies in 2003.

  3. Central Arkansas Christian Schools (CAC) Athletic Field Expansion
    Our Firm designed a new baseball, softball and soccer complex for CAC in 2005. The athletic facility includes a new parking facility, grandstands, and concessions facility.

  4. North Little Rock Burns Park Girl's Softball Complex
    Marlar Engineering designed the complex which includes 5-300' softball fields, a major concession and score keeper building recreational pavilions, lighting, parking facilities for over 250 vehicles, utilities and drainage facilities, irrigation, grading plan, and landscape design. This facilitate was completed in 1995 at a cost of $1.2 million.

  5. North Little Rock American Legion Baseball Complex
    Marlar Engineering Co., Inc. Designed improvements to the NLR American Legion Baseball Facility including grading, drainage facilities, utilities, site improvements. The baseball field experienced elevation changes of more than 12 feet from home plat to the left field fence and had drainage problems before these improvements were implemented.

  6. North Little Rock Burns Park Playground Improvements
    Marlar Engineering Co. Inc. designed layouts of playground equipment to meet ADA and safety requirements at various locations in Burns Park.

  7. Maumelle Baseball, Softball, Soccer Complex Planning
    Marlar Engineering Co. Inc planned and prepared construction estimates for a major softball/baseball/soccer complex for the City of Maumelle in 1998. These improvements include 5 softball fields, 4 baseball fields and modifications to the City's existing baseball complex to include a soccer facility.

  8. Pleasant Forest, Little Rock, Arkansas
    Pleasant Forest includes over 1000 homes, water, sewer, street and drainage improvements and was completed in 1974.

  9. Stone Links Development, North Little Rock
    Stone Links includes an 18 hole golf course and over 500 residential lots and included the extension of a 16" ductile iron waterline for 3 miles to supply water to the development. Stone Links was completed in 1998.

  10. The Country Club or Arkansas, Maumelle, Arkansas
    The Country Club of Arkansas is an ongoing residential golf course community in Maumelle and includes over 900 lots, water, sewer, streets, and drainage improvements.
